Gadsden County

The ELC has been providing services to families and child care providers in Gadsden County since 2001. The ELC operates an office location in Gadsden County in downtown Quincy. (Click for directions).

Current VPK Providers – School Year Term

The ELC contracts with public and private early learning providers for the provision of direct services through the VPK program. Parents choose the VPK program that best meets their need and the needs of their child.

Each provider must sign the Statewide VPK contract (link) and demonstrate compliance with all program requirements. ELC staff monitor compliance with VPK requirements at least once during the program year. Click here for a current list.

Current Contracted School Readiness Providers 09-10 Fiscal Year

Each year the ELC contracts with a network of private and public early learning providers for the provision of direct services through the School Readiness program. Parents participating in the School Readiness program choose the network provider that best meets their needs and the needs of their child.

All network providers must meet the criteria stipulated in their Provider Network Agreement (link). ELC staff monitor each provider at least once during the fiscal year to assess compliance with network requirements and corrective actions are implemented as necessary. Current Families Served

The ELC current provides School Readiness Tuition Assistance Services to an average of 800 families per month.
