ELC - 310

The Creative Curriculum Model for Pre-kindergarten Teachers

Course Begins May 8 and Ends on May 24, 2012

10 Hours or 1.0 CEU’s

This 10 hour course will demonstrate the educational framework of the Creative Curriculum Pre-kindergarten philosophy. Teachers will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in curriculum, lesson planning, assessment and best practices, along with integrating the Florida Early Learning & Developmental Standards through the Creative Curriculum model. This is a project based course that allows teachers to demonstrate their creativity and knowledge in curriculum planning and child outcomes. Please note that this course will meet the curriculum training requirements for the ELC Provider Network Agreement for FY 2011-12.

****This course is based on articles, PowerPoint’s and projects, no textbook is included with this course.

Overview of Wee Learn Curriculum for Pre-kindergarten Teachers

Course Begins May 8 and Ends on May 24, 2012

10 Hours or 1.0 CEU’s

This 10 hour course will demonstrate the educational framework of the WEE Learn: Curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten children. The Wee Learn Curriculum is a comprehensive curriculum plan that contains a range of teaching suggestions for using books, music, nature, and educational materials to illustrate Christian fundamentals. This is a project based course that allows teachers to demonstrate their creativity and knowledge in curriculum planning and child outcomes, while supporting Christian fundamentals. Please note that this course will meet the curriculum training requirements for the ELC Provider Network Agreement for FY 2011-12.

The Kindness Curriculum

Course Begins May 16- and Ends on May 24, 2012

5 Hours In-Service

Target Audience – Toddlers - Pre-K Teachers

Come and join this interactive course through creating opportunities for children to practice kindness, respect, and responsibility. You will be able to download activities from the Kindness Curriculum book and put theory into practice, using a variety of imaginative, exuberant activities that instill character and kindness. Please note that this course will meet the curriculum training requirements for the ELC Provider Network Agreement for FY 2011-12. ****This course is based on activities, PowerPoint’s and projects, no textbook is included with this course.
