The Early Learning Coalition is with you all the way and strives to provide every family with useful information and services. Through this goal we have developed many community partners and identified additional resources for families. On this page you will find links to several of those partners and resources.

Department of Children and Families - Child Care Information -
The Department of Children and Families, Child Care Services Program Office, is statutorily responsible for the administration of child care licensing and training throughout Florida. The purpose of this program is to ensure that children are well cared for in a safe, healthy, positive and educational environment by trained, qualified child care staff.

Agency for Workforce Innovation’s Office of Early Learning -
The Agency for Workforce Innovation is Florida’s lead state workforce agency and directly administers the state’s Labor Market Statistics program, Unemployment Compensation, Early Learning and various workforce development programs. The Office of Early Learning, a division within the agency, provides oversight of Florida’s school readiness programs and is the lead entity for implementing the state’s successful Voluntary Prekindergarten program

National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies ( NACCRRA) -
NACCRRA, the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies, is the nation’s leading voice for child care. They work with more than 800 state and local Child Care Resource & Referral agencies to ensure that families in every local community have access to high-quality, affordable child care.

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) -
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8.

National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) -
NAFCC is dedicated to strengthening the profession of family child care by promoting high quality, professional early care and education and strengthening communities where providers live and work.

National AfterSchool Association (NAA) -
As the leading voice of the after-school profession, they are dedicated to the development, education, and care of children and youth during their out-of-school hours.

Child Care Aware -
Child Care Aware is a non-profit initiative committed to helping parents find the best information on locating quality child care and child care resources in their community.

Zero to Three -
ZERO TO THREE's mission is to support the healthy development and well-being of infants, toddlers and their families.

Ounce of Prevention -
The Ounce of Prevention Fund invests in the healthy development of at-risk infants, toddlers and preschool children. They use an innovative cycle of family-focused programs, research, training, policy analysis and advocacy to help young children succeed in school and throughout life.

Keeping Children Safe by Reducing the Risk of Injury or Death from Consumer Products.

Whole Child Leon -
Whole Child Leon is working on addressing challenges and opportunities that affect children 0-5 and their families.

Family Forum -
The site continues to be revised and expanded to serve the needs of parents seeking all kinds of information and activities for their families in the Tallahassee area.

211- Big Bend -
Helping individuals and communities by bringing people and services together through programs which include telephone counseling, crisis intervention, information, referral, and training services.

The Florida Directory of Early Childhood Services (Central Directory) -
Central Directory has provided services to thousands of families and providers seeking advocacy, education, training, resource and referral, and information on disability services available in their communities.

Florida Kid Care -
KidCare is the state’s children’s health insurance program for uninsured children under age 19. It is made up of four parts: MediKids, Healthy Kids, the Children’s Medical Services (CMS) Network for children with special health care needs, and Medicaid for children.
