We’re looking to add a talented Early Care and Education Associate to our team. This position is responsible for assisting with and supporting the delivery of early learning quality and distance learning.

You Have:

  • Associate degree and 1 year experience in instructional design or related field, preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years experience in instructional design or related field, required

  • Excellent customer service, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, web-based programs, and databases
  • Ability to adapt readily to change
  • Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of rules, regulations, and ELC policies, procedures, and practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including providing technical programmatic information to nontechnical audience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, follow through and meet deadlines
  • A positive attitude and an example to others in the areas of problem-solving, teamwork, interpersonal relationships, support of management decisions, and commitment to ELC’s mission and vision

What You Will Do (Summary):

  • Serve as back-up in administering and inputting program assessment data in School Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) classrooms
  • Assist with the maintenance of the online Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Respond to customer queries promptly and accurately via phone, email, or chat
  • Assist child providers with distance learning and early care education technical assistance
  • Assist with communicating course information to providers 
  • Assist with compiling resources, creating packets, and arranging resource areas for parents and providers throughout ELC’s seven-county service area
  • Provide timely responsive guidance and technical assistance to providers on ELC special funding projects for Distance Learning and/or Early Care and Education
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize information on best practices and identify training needs and emerging trends for staff and providers 
  • Assist with the annual Transition to Kindergarten project
  • Maintain knowledge of program assessment law, policies & procedures
  • Assist with internal and external audits to ensure accuracy
  • Participate in a minimum of two Outreach events/activities during the fiscal year
  • Ensure appropriate use of all resources by immediately reporting suspected internal and/or external fraud via Coalition’s established Fraud Reporting Procedure
  • Participate as directed in all ELC quality improvement efforts to achieve optimum organizational performance
  • Contact the Abuse Hotline immediately in the event an allegation of abuse, neglect, or exploitation is received and notify a manager immediately
  • Provide information and reporting accurately and timely
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Position: Part-Time; Non-Exempt.

Salary Range: $16.50 – $17.50 an hour

Location: In-person

Benefits: Part Time Paid Time Off (PTO), Holidays, Hybrid Schedule (if eligible)
