Technical Assistance

The ELC has dedicated Quality Support staff that works directly with local child care providers through on-site coaching and technical assistance. Staff assess where providers are and provide information and training on recommended research-based best practices. ELC Network providers can request on-site technical assistance and training at no cost.

Technical assistance topics can include any of the following:

  • Administrative practices (staffing, business operations, etc.)
  • Curriculum
  • Classroom arrangement
  • Activities and experiences
  • Classroom Management
  • Child Development Practices
  • Inclusion of children with special needs
  • Conducting child assessments
  • Other
