Board Vacancies

The ELC Board of Directors currently has two openings for child care provider representatives:

  • A representative from a private, for-profit child care provider, which can include a private, for-profit family day care home.
  • A representative from a faith-based child care provider.

Interested providers in good standing from the Big Bend Region (Wakulla, Liberty, Gadsden, Leon, Jefferson, Madison and Taylor counties) are encouraged to apply. Board membership requires a time commitment to attend full Board meetings and committee meetings and special events. Click here (pdf 172.08 kB) to download an application.

Serious applicants can apply by filling out an application and submitting it to our office for review. The Executive Committee of the Board will review all applications and make the Board Member selections. Applications can be sent either by mail or email. Please send applications to:

The ELC is always actively recruiting potential new board members from the communities served by the ELC (Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, and Wakulla Counties). Serving on the Board requires a commitment of time including, attendance at regular Board and Committee Meetings, Board orientations and trainings and supporting and/or attending ELC events.
