Unified Wait List
Effective August 22, 2011, the ELC will no longer be able to enroll new families into the School Readiness program unless they have a referral from the Department of Children and Families or one of our Workforce partners. As a result, the ELC will begin placing families in all seven counties served on the waitlist for School Readiness services.

This "freeze" on enrollments is a result of the 8% budget reduction the ELC received during the last legislative session. Despite this funding cut, the ELC will continue to serve children currently enrolled in the School Readiness program. Unfortunately, we will not be able to serve as many new enrollments this fiscal year.
Due to this enrollment freeze, it will be critical for families currently receiving School Readiness services to maintain their eligibility. Families who are terminated due to missed recertification appointments will be placed on the waitlist and not back in care.
